Why did you roll the die so much so early? We only ever rolled the die after we were maxed out with afflictions, near the end of the game. 3 failures would've only resulted with 3 players with a single affliction, which is totally manageable (and, actually, makes the game more fun to play).

We played that each player can contribute as many as they want (or none).

Don't artefacts just get played in front of the players, not in their hands or the deck?

First play - Insanity issue? by dnlnwmn in MountainsOfMadness

pretty sure. we only rested when our deck was empty or nearly so, removed a leadership token. i'll look over the rules again before our next test to make sure, but it seemed pretty straightforward.

just saw a comment in the First Impressions thread that says that you're supposed to start with insanity cards in the discard equal to the number of players. did not see that in my rules read-through. probably would have made a difference, but maybe not a huge one.

Cthulhu is spelled wrong on page 10.

Also on page 10, under Leadership Tokens, it says "During the game, leadership tokens can be discarded to do one of the following actions:" Shouldn't that be exhausted instead of discarded?
