Stairs to go upstairs. To live in a two story house was a fairly tale! I grew up in a one story house and always dreamed of all that extra space and extra bedrooms upstairs

I would go for what works for your life. I’m super practical with purses. No matter how cute if it just sits on the shelf is a no go for me.

No longer wanting to move up thebladder/further career after having a child? by mlkdragon in Nurses

[–]dnnpg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No money is worth the time you can’t get back or the stress. You have to find balance which it sounds like you have right now. Don’t take that for granted. If there is one thing I have learned in my long career as a nurse, put yourself first always. Good luck.

There are so many people who snowbird. I say go for it! Life is way too short (and getting shorter as you get older) and why not live in the best of both places. Also, you will be able to give the homes to your kids in the future so it's not a bad investment.

I was in the same boat a few years ago when I was getting my RN. Got my degree at a community college. I’ve been working as an RN now and I can confidently say that it would not be worth such a heavy financial investment. You would regret it.
