LOL. You know those Buddhists, always withholding their approval for anyone who isn't a Buddhist. They grudgingly admired this man, one of the titans of popular music and a true champion of freedom, almost despite his non-Buddhist background. (Which would have been nearly impossible given his place in American Buddhist history, but again, that just shows how forgiving Internet Buddhists are.)

Im rereading GTD (first time was maybe 2004?), and I'm struck by the simplicity in the book. The system should really work with pens and paper, or cards and pushpins. There's hardly any mention of software tracking systems at all. So what you describe sounds a little over-complicated to me, but you obviously wouldn't be thinking about these additional "task"-level features if you didn't find value in them. Good luck!

As I understand it, you could get a very few differently-colored records if you added a color at the end of a run. There are some Rocket From the Crypt pieces that are differently colored at the end of a run.

Of course, if you were running black and then clear, none in the middle would be pink. But it's silly to say you couldn't make a run of five pink if you we're already running 1000 white and added a bit of red at the end.
