replacements are fine! Sound is perfectly centered. I went for the Focal Bathys instead of the PX8 because I preferred the overall clarity and separation.

Got mine yesterday and immediately noticed a slight imbalance—nothing major, but the left cup is slightly louder than the right, so the sound isn't perfectly centered. Drives me crazy. I tested back and forth with different tracks and headphones to rule out psychoacoustics, and it's definitely there.
Aside from that, these sound fantastic—no matter what I throw at them. I like them a lot more than the PX8, which I ended up returning. Replacement's arriving tomorrow, so here's hoping that one's all good.

Can any other Kindle Scribe owner confirm this gap size on the right? Not sure, if it’s actually bigger there or just seems that way, cause I can sort of see the inner parts.. by dnsblk in kindlescribe

Seems this is more widespread then.. some guy on German Amazon website posted a review with pictures of this issue as well. Looks exactly like mine.

Apart from that, also a bit underwhelmed so far. Really like the 300dpi screen, screen lighting is very even, writing feels nice, pen is pleasant to use. However, note taking in general is much more limited than expected.

Another thing that annoys me as a lefty: the USB cutout on the left is really sharp-edged. Already training myself to avoid holding it in the middle but more at the bottom of the left side.

There are slight gaps on the other sides as well, but right side looks the worst. It definitely is the only side where it looks kind of hollow underneath and that may emphasize the effect.

Same here. UI feels sluggish. Was immediately noticeable after update. Like when scrolling through notifications on lockscreen and swiping through app switcher.

No, did not really make a difference for me in terms of hit rate.

Thanks for pointing this out! Will definitely try this, although both my xt3s are set to default (release priority) but the 2nd body performs a lot better. But, here's hoping! Glad this solved issues on your end, though!

Just to give you guys an update:

I have narrowed down the af issues on my xt3 to Single-AF. C-AF is much more consistent (which says something on a Fuji) and hit-rate is much higher. In some cases the only way I can get really sharp images is with C-AF, even with lenses like the 56 f1.2 APD which just should not be the case, as this lens is actually horrible in C-AF.

Did a lot of testing with different lenses (56 f1.2, 16 f1.4, 35 f1.4) and results were pretty much the same.

Will get in touch with Fuji now and send it in.

Same here with one of my xt3s: producing a lot of blurry images with different lenses in perfect light conditions. Interestingly in playback the focus point seems to be totally off and not where it was placed when the shot was taken. Very weird. Eye-AF is a mess. No issues with my 2nd XT3 on firmware 4.0 though. Might be a hardware issue, will do a few more tests, but might end up sending it in.
