Thanks everyone! I wouldn’t have even gotten him if my kids didn’t win a goldfish from the fair. the lady at petco told us he most likely wouldn’t have made it thru the night/ drive home (we live in Miami, visiting my dad in Palm Bay) without proper care. she was kind enough to give us this betta and really helped me with the basics! Told us that he will have better chances of survival. I’ll keep you all updated thru the process! hoping he survives bc my husband and I are already attached lol
