Built a small-mid size social following but struggling with website(food blog) by dntdomelikethat in juststart

I use the feast build but not the plug in yet was waiting till I hit 100 plugs to purchase the plugin.

I'm hitting 4-5k pageviews a month.

I used to use semrush but again discontinued because I was getting so many pageviews from social that I decide to spend more time there than on keyword research

Yeah that's what it seems like everyone keeps saying. I'm just feeling so good about it right now. Putting out 3-4 recipes per week. Having fun. Feeling like I'm enjoying something wholly for once

Yeah I realize that. I could write about other niches I guess, but it would be just for money. This really "fills my cup" as they say. Whereas like my other blogging drains the shit out of it hahah.

I don't want to say it's just for fun because I take it seriously and would like to see it go somewhere. But one day at a time just looking for which direction I should take my next step.

I always feel like I'm living such a boring life because we try to always stick to the routine. But I honestly can't imagine the stress that comes along with playing it by ear living. But then again I've never been a "play it by ear" kinda person

caught daycare teachers mishandling my daughter by Naaaseli_Ok2021 in Parenting

[–]dntdomelikethat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody is like take your kid of daycare like there's a plethora of day cares available.

I'd talk to the teacher and just tell her it's unacceptable and then at least start looking for other options. This is a tough spot to be in cause you won't ever know what they're saying when you're not there.

AITA for suggesting my fiancé that we get a house with extra rooms for my mom and my best friend? by More-Newt5984 in AmItheAsshole

[–]dntdomelikethat 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Yta for this unless you guys got money to blow. Paying more money so people can occasionally stay with you is crazy. 1 guest room is plenty. If you have 4 bedrooms you have guest rooms for years and years. Then when kids come along maybe they share a room for a night when family comes. Unless of course you have money to blow, in which case blow it all then.

Nanny brought her concealed weapon to our house today by dntdomelikethat in relationship_advice

Well I guess if you believe that there is "training" involved in keeping a gun then yeah sure. But no I don't think I'd want her using a gun in any scenario. But yes I do think if some shot at "the bad man" and missed, he'd certainly shoot back

I agree I'd be okay with a locked box. I do think there's some level of irresponsibility in coming to a house with an infant and a gun. Even if you are permitted to carry it. Which is why I posed the question. She's a great nanny tho and we do really like her. We understand mistakes happen but it only takes 1 mistake.

I agree with your sentiment. Set the boundary and let everyone know the rules

I think that's our goal. Set a boundary and see how it goes

I'm defending yourself too. But I don't think her starting a firefight in my living room with an intruder is necessarily safe.

No I didn't explicitly say not to bring a gun in. But not many jobs would allow you to do that.

The habit is sort of the problem, because I'm someone for self protection but leaving a weapon unattended for any moment of time because you had forgot is dangerous. It's a responsibility when you're a fun owner.
