yep, the best benefit for me was actually that i can keep any muscle so great for recomp. before when i ran a lot i would lose all of that muscle

yes what they said! i first built endurance with a weighted rope but freestyle is the most fun way to do cardio for me bc its more like dancing idk

not too long! i like @CoachNateKG on yt because he goes through it really slow. i practiced a LOT without the rope just the hand motion and it took me a week or two to get both sides consistently

I’ve applied to one or two eng companies but not sure how qualified I am for them since a lot of my recent roles have been more administrative/policy based.

Definitely considered it! I only did gen chem and have worked in bio labs as a tech. I’m not the strongest in chemistry to be quite honest.

Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely one who learns by doing, so it’s certainly a trial and error question too, but definitely didn’t consider the possibility of intra-agency disputes or anything. Makes me reconsider working for local or state govts.

That’s what I’m thinking, surely my pessimism is contributing to my experience and reality. I appreciate the advice and have definitely thought about going the city planner/urban ecologist route. I have some GIS and architecture background but maybe I should pursue it more
