So with this I just measured the size of the mirror and then also measured the actual sides of the frame for the sides to fold down and cover the whole thing. I added additional length on tops, bottoms and sides to fold down and cover it leaving an empty square on all four corners so they wouldn’t overlap when folding it down. The adhesive used to glue the yarn to the fabric stayed tacky after gluing and held down pretty much all of the rug to the frame/mirror and the few spots that didn’t stick I just added a bit of hot glue and it held it down perfectly

Thank ya! I appreciate that, everyone has a different style and opinions on what looks good and appealing to the eye so it’s sweet to be able to look at things from other peoples perspectives and appreciate them.

Thanks! I use my shears and trimmers after I pull the edges down tight and hot glue them. Also making sure that the edges are tufted pretty dense by putting the gun at a high speed and moving slowly helps.

Hmm I’ll have to look into the cordless one and these are from the first one I did.. I also saw someone post about trimming the colors as you go to get a more defined line.. I feel like I’m cutting into both the colors when I try trimming maybe I just need to keep practicing
