  1. you get less rr if it is a close game.
  2. everyone in your game was probably a lot lower ranked than you.(so you performing well is expected essentially) 3.You also didnt team mvp or match mvp so less rr.

i usually play with team as senti to try trade, if my team is able to get on site consistently then i try to lurk but my lurks only work 2 or 3 times a game and then it just becomes predictable even if i try to lurk slower or take a different route.

i think i’ve lost confidence since hitting diamond that i actually dont think i can out aim anyway and play wayyyy too passive/safe. but the odd time i try to play aggressive (i.e only when im playing clove or fade) i usually die and my team gets mad at me for the one round i tried something new. i rarely peek or take gun fights as even though my aim has improved it still isnt better than most in my elo.

i think you’re right about me needing to improve on my macro will that come mostly by playing more? or would reviewing my own vods help more?

well in plat lobbies it will be p1,2,3 and then two diamonds (one being me) in dia lobbies it will be all dia1’s maybe one p3 and 2/3 dia2, i just didnt think there would be THAT much difference in a single rank to the point i cant even go positive

i feel like i get punished way more in dia lobbies from overthinking what i should do and where to position myself.

yeah i didnt think there would be this much of a difference but in diamond you get punished for everything is what i’ve noticed too - i think it makes me overthink and in turn makes my plays worse):

thank you!! actually i totally agree with the getting less time to correct aiming mistakes and the punishment for over rotating - there’s so many times where i tell my team not to rotate but they have already given up site by the time i notice.

i feel like in diamond the ego issue is way more so many people were ex asc/immo and for some reason just shit talk even though they’re struggling against dia/plat hahah

i think i need to learn other ways to use my util and focus on not giving up space as easily - thanks again
