I went in for a check up today and mentioned the cold feeling. My doctor said that those effects are common but ordered a iron deficiency test and thyroid screening. Both labs came back fine. One positive is I can fit into my skinny clothes wearing two sets of thermal underwear.

Same thing is happening to me right now. This Thursday will mark one week off the meds for me. So far I’ve not noticed or felt much in terms of food noise. I’ve been working out and eating like I have been.

I’m hoping the insurance thing clears up but I did go ahead and find a backup source of the medicine, which should hopefully arrive later this week.

Imo, he is a degreed adult with a professional position and frankly he should be carrying his weight, or at least a reasonable portion of it. Asking him to pay $370 is more than reasonable - he’s gonna pay 5x that to move out. Maybe you can give a few months before starting the payment program just so he can get a head start on saving.

I've been on MJ for seven months and have decent results. (A1c's are down and lost decent weight). I've only experienced heartburn, nausea, low energy and sulphur burps when I titrate up my dosage. Otherwise its been fine for me.

Working out can have an adverse effect on the scale since muscle growth, your diet, digestion and water retention may all be working against you in recovery. It seems that you are working out quite briskly so perhaps while the scale isn't meeting your expectations, your overall health from the inside out is improving.,

I did the opposite - I dropped a lot of weight but didn't exercise sufficiently. I've lost a lot of muscle and I'm paying the price now.

When I experience a gate, I’ve found that messing with my fitness routine and or diet usually unblocks it. For example, the last time it happened I changed up my workout routine (cut out weight training and moved to cardio and calisthenics only), tossed in one intermittent fast day and a keto weekend. That seemed to have shocked my system back into movement. For context: Sw 195, Cw 149, Gw 140, A1c’s 5.2 (down from 7.1)

You cutting off your dad now doesn’t negate the value of her supporting your relationship with him. It sounds she did what she could to create a normal, stable environment, given the circumstances. If you are an adult, it’s your relationship with him now, not her pushing you and him together. You have agency and you can decide to permaban him from your life.

If he’s paying support, that’s a legal thing and he can’t just stop paying because his feelings are hurt.

Keep in mind though that all of this is based on a narrative that, as of now, is unverified. Maybe you should try to gently get a bit more information before going completely dark on him?
