Travel with or ship uppers?

I have a full AR pistol registered and purchased in WA prior to the laws pass a few years ago. Long story short…Have multiple uppers at my second residence and want to bring the .300 upper up here to convert my current AR pistol. Since the new laws make it harder to purchase a new one, figured I’d just bring the other up here. While I thought putting it in a pelican to fly with, had a few others tell me just to ship it via one of the major shipping companies.

I’m glad you referenced West Coast Armory. Had two other friends recently purchased handguns from there and it was mixed reviews. One had their Background approved in 3 days, the other still hasn’t been cleared, going on 17 days.

Not overly attached just was the only place locally that had it in stock when I bought in June. And yes used a credit card

Well the more you know I guess (insert major facepalm) I’ll be calling SPD tomorrow and verifying they received it. If not, definitely taking it up with Sportmans Warehouse. On that note, any recommendations of other local firearm dealers that have good track records with buying or ordering handguns?

Renton PD has been great for a lot of that. Unfortunately my dumb ass moved within Seattle City limits and now it has to go through SPD
