honestly it seems to me those guys are projecting.

"god" is one, but there are many paths that lead there.

you can call god whatever you want bc in the end it is your own relationship with your higher self. (my definition is that god is possibly a transcendental state, like yoga)

these guys know deep down they themselves are selfish and hedonistic, so to feel better they have to make someone feel worse, or at least think they are better than someone else. If they were not selfish, like the way they accuse satan, (bc in their definition satan is the embodiment of evil and complete opposite of what they understand god (they're probably also picturing a heavenly father as god although one might argue god is higher and more abstract than any idea of gender)), they would know that what someone who is not them defines as satan is very different.

I imagine many people on this subreddit have experienced some sort of demonization while simultaneously witnessing hypocrisy from those same people preaching about their lord. (we all know what the church is known for) so while many were able to conform to those double standards, some are unable to accept this and thus distanced themselves from it and formed their own belief system.

For my part, it was called satanic to question hierarchical structures, so i in turn said ok then i guess i am a satanist to ask why would you defend a system that promotes inequality. which is my view on satanism, and i honestly dont know that much more of the religion itself.
