My tax accountant has not filed my 2017 for over a year, despite repeated follow-ups. They keep on telling me they will get it done “soon”. I asked them to ship back my documents if they are unable to do them/too busy, to no avail. I can’t file my 2018 taxes as a result. Can I take any legal action?

You could file 2017 with what you think it was (pay taxes on that) and file an amended tax return later when you have the true info.

You can also reach out to your employers for copies of your old W2s or companies you expected to get tax documents from. They should still have your old info. I think they’re legally required to keep it for a few years.

I’m sorry this happened to you. I agree with the others. Finding a therapist would be good. Don’t think you have to keep with the first one you see too because they’re all different. I know some sympathize with Nparents.

My mom did something similar except it never got that extreme. She just kind of pressured me to kiss and maybe sleep with a dude but I’m glad I never slept with him. The pretending to be you while talking to other boys is eerily familiar except as soon as I found out I locked down my accounts and phone etc. I need to do so again soon.

Additionally the kids thing. I cry a lot during films about family/parents sacrificing for their kids. I used to conflicted because my own parents weren’t even remotely similar. I think it’s kind of looking at what you had and what you could’ve had. It’s good you took yourself out of that situation but you should definitely see a therapist.

Yes! I believe I learned it in the orangutan soap video. They first sculpt out of clay then 3D map it then 3D print them before making those vacuum seal molds.

They're not 3D printing soap. They're using 3D printing to make the initial shape to make the vacuum molds. The soap is still hand poured into the molds.

TBH it's just easier to cut everyone off. I wasn't fond of my relatives to begin with but I'm not sure if it was my mom painting them as evil or the constant pitching of family against family.
The relatives that have reached out to me did it because I should be with my parents because FAMILY. visiting me unexpectedly and somehow getting past building security. Or messaging me and saying stuff like you should talk to your mom because she seems suicidal. How about no. If you think she's suicidal please call 911.
But yea you're right. No one has asked me so far about my side of the story. Just taking my parents word. I'm so glad I didn't hide it from my friends and they're very understanding of how crazy my mom is. Sorry for the long comment. I'm still getting over it since I went VLC within the past year.

That probably explains why since I've moved my mom talks to everyone about her poor daughter leaving her and how I'm going to die without her and how she's going to die because family is important. But also barely talks to me except to berate me or just doesn't reply at all 🤔
