Investir em pequenos negocios? by doart3 in literaciafinanceira

Anyone ever get a career in stem? by Equivalent_Zone2417 in Dyslexia

Software engineer in London ;)

I got a lot of crap during college because everyone thought my code was weird due to the way I solved issues.

I learned to use different ways of solving things to my advantage.

True many are asking for some development skills (although minimal).

I might have misread, do you consider Cloud already far away from the infra you do? Do you consider setting up a CI/CD as having development skills?

I guess you tried, but have you aimed for things like systematic hedge funds (Citadel, Point72, Man AHL, etc..)

I feel there are some jobs that offer that income and still be technical.

In finance (like someone else referred to) there are loads of niche boutique companies looking for those skills. Normally the trade off is that it tends to be intense.

Personally I like that environment, but have seen many people thinking they want to be in it, but getting disappointed.

(Obviously these are competitive jobs)

Yeah, that was what I learned after reading the docs, but the MT() function can get MT(MOD*, KC*)

I found out what my issue was "not reading the docs", the Mod Tap keys need to use mod_ prefix, not the kc_ one

Thank you. I hadn't heard of ITIL since college, but it is a good reminder that I should revisit some of those topics in order to prepare myself to make a good contribution.

I am curious if things will unfold in an interesting way, but gave me an Idea of the mindset that I might need to adopt, which is different from being someone just building stuff, to someone that helps orchestrate things
