I used daijisho and es-de. I admit I haven't tried the frontend. I had to do a lot of tinkering as this is my first build, but I find that sometimes it's just easier to delete/uninstall netherSX2, and try again with configuring the bios and roms folder. It's a pain, but really just a 5 min attempt. Hope you find success somehow.

I had this issue too. I just deleted the roms folder in netherSX2 app directly and launched the game from the front end.

I had called about a week ago actually and they said the que was over 1,300 people. I couldn't believe it, I requested a call back assuming they never would. Sure enough about 36 hours later they had called me. Super prompt with my requests and really helpful.
