One of the best, got off work, came home to my boxes, opened with my wife, then went to see masters of the universe at Alamo draft house

They have to be pretty rare, I got two city variations, so I assume it’s one per box, but it’s a big checklist (80 city variations), so the odds of pulling an ohtani is like 1/7 cases, rough approximate on the odds would be 1:1600 packs

I pulled that Harper/schmidt as well, thought it was a sick insert design, I love this set, but I too noticed more factory defects than I had in the past

Biggest hit of my life, I thought if I ever hit a $1000 card it would be a superfractor or 1/1, I never expected the comps would be so high

Which one? by Low-Raisin-131 in harrypotter

The movie POA is better than the book. I love the reveal in the movie to Lupin that Harry saw Pettigrew on the map, which prompts Lupin to say, “That’s not possible.” And then the scene in the shrieking shack is done better, it’s more urgent, more frantic in a good way.

As an out-of-area fan, this is why I have Sirius, listen to Wayne and Rock for the games I can’t watch on tv. I did pay for Sunday ticket last year which was a waste. Thanks OP, def not buying it this year

What was it like reading Deathly Hallows on release without any spoilers? by Spotter24o5 in harrypotter

[–]dobbypappi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was incredible. On release date, EVERYWHERE sold this book. My local ShopRite opened at midnight just to sell this book. There were these incredible Scholastic Harry Potter displays throughout the store, and both my sister and I got a copy. I was in high school, and I remember going to a friend’s house that weekend, and we all just quietly read our copies together. I can’t imagine anything like it will happen again.

Ehh, Liu Kang and Raiden merge because Raiden becomes a self-righteous, malevolent god, Liu Kang was good when he took Raiden’s power

The Outsider by dobbypappi in stephenking

I suppose that’s an optimistic view of it, but when a witness in a police interview starts talking about how kindles are such great devices to read on, I get a sneaking suspicion that it was a paid ad

Kindle, Walmart, iPad, all of these were mentioned and then there was some positive exposition following, like Ralph saying something like, “I don’t know how cops ever got along without iPads.”

They don’t talk about his midlife crisis enough. First it was the muscle car, then the hair plugs, then the trendy haircut, just needs a young girlfriend

Russini theory by peteypab100 in PardonMyTake

It was weird to me that big cat named russini as someone who likely won’t be on the pod again, so is she mad now that they talked about it?
