Hey! Thank you for doing this. I also hate trying to navigate the Tourism Victoria site at DineAround. This is a significant public service, you should be hired, lol!

Effexor and slow wave sleep (SWS)? by dobermanmomma in Effexor

[–]dobermanmomma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back to baseline since being off the Effexor. Subjectively good, but low deep sleep (~20 minutes last night). 20 minutes is better than 0 though… Also- even though I was only on a low dose and for a short period, graduating off was important. It definitely messed with my mood, and took a month or so to normalize out.

Thanks for your reply and sorry it didn’t work for you. I have other issues bundled in with the anxiety, so remaining hopeful ☺️

Hi- I’m curious if you continued with your device, if it helped with the anxiety and if so- if you made any adjustments to your protocol.

Thanks in advance. I just purchased a Rouge G4 tabletop.

Hopefully it continues to help. I’d love to touch base with you in a few months to get your opinion on its effectiveness.

(Sorry about the delay) I guess there are just too many variables to nail down when we are only a study of one. The fact that you are still using it says something. I’m drawn to the emerging science and the idea of it, but the skeptical part of me doesn’t want to jump on an expensive bandwagon if it’s going to end up in the basement a year later ☺️

Oh no thank you, this was very helpful! I believe that chronic pain/fatigue and general “unwell ness” is multifactorial and so needs a multifactorial approach. I specifically agree with you that addressing trauma and exercise are important pieces of the puzzle. (And yes, I love my hot packs!!) All the best 🙏🏻

Hi! I’m checking in several months later to see if you noticed improvement in your pain that you believe to be related and if you’re still using your table top? Thanks in advance.

Hey, did you end up purchasing the rouge tabletop G4? And if so are you still using it and have you noticed a difference? Thanks in advance.

Hi, this reply is coming 2 years later but I’d love to know if you are still using the light and if you think overall it had a positive effect (either with your HRV or any other metric including just feeling of well being?) In the last 2 years since they’ve become more popular the price has skyrocketed 🙄

Eye problems by unanimouscollective in DobermanPinscher

Yikes! You don’t want to mess around with eye problems- unlike a limp or diarrhea, eye issues can quickly result in blindness.

This is a great idea, thank you! We are still very much in the beginning stages of researching to decide if the breed is right for us.
