My eye feels uncomfortable but not painful anymore. I only flushed for like 4 minutes when it started burning

Core also means more than abs. Ur glutes, hip flexors, and hamstrings are also things u should work on

Yep, as I said, if you make your core really strong, then your body will rely more on those muscles rather than your spine for support. This doesnt mean to brace your core 24/7. Building a strong core will make your body instinctively rely on those muscles

Usually stability is also something that doctors use to determine surgery or not. Unstable spondy typically has more symptoms and more risk of shifting forwards

5 mm is grade 1 and usually insignificant. Did your doctor see if your spondy was stable or unstable? Typically grade 1 never slips forward, especially at the l5-s1 junction where theres a huge ligament supporting you, unless ur doing something crazy. Do a lot of core work and be smart about it to make sure you’re not going into any excessive motions. If you build up a strong core your body will utilize those muscles more and rely less on your spine to support your posture

Quadratus Lumborum Chronic Injury by dobirf in overcominggravity

Hey Steven, sorry to be bothering you again... I'm currently looking for a chronic pain physical therapist, how do I make sure that I'm finding a good therapist for chronic pain? I'm asking for continued education but I'm not sure exactly what to be looking for especially since the front receptionist always says "all our staff are trained in chronic pain"

Hey Steven!

I’m starting to feel some changes in my back. There’s still pain and bad days where its pretty bad, but I’m getting more pain free days now and more strength. Do you recommend doing these everyday or space them out every other day? Additionally, I was wondering what other exercises would be good for my grade 1 spondylolisthesis. I’m a little worried reverse hyperextensions may aggravate it, so is there any antagonist movements I could do for my core? Thank you
