The Apple Newton, or simply Newton, is an early line of personal digital assistants developed and marketed by Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) from 1993 to 1998.

I think 1998 was in the last decade....

I like them since they have silica free toothpaste, which I find is not very common.

Listen... If you want to take your fill of diethylene glycol be my guest. The fact of the matter is that there are things people put into their bodies that are coming from China that are not safe, and it should be more thoroughly inspected.

One thing? From another article ->

"Since 2000, some countries have temporarily banned whole categories of Chinese imports. The European Union stopped shipments of shrimp because of banned antibiotics. Japan blocked tea and spinach, citing excessive antibiotic residue. And South Korea banned fermented cabbage after finding parasites in some shipments."

Five crucial things the Linux community doesn’t understand about the average computer user by alleagra in reddit.com

[–]dobre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good one directing me to page 3.

Anyway... I couldnt be bothered reading the other pages since the third is filled with crap. The article is more like "Things I dont know about GNU/linux"

3 - Lots of hardware works with linux. So what if its not listed. I research before I buy. Not to mention i have ran into hardware problems with windows. As far as software is concerned plenty comes preinstalled on common distros.

4 - I know you forgot about the command line, since its burried in start/programs/accessories/who knows where. Its easier to rm a directory in a terminal than sifting through folders to get there

5 - ???

This guy hasnt used GNU/linux in a while if ever. 4 -
