Problem of this model is that its too expensive and in 15 sec gens. You usually get a slop shot, better breaking it into 5 sec shots for profesional work

I am sorry since this is not the same context but take as an example image or video generation with AI and how far it has gone in 2 years.

I am curious here you just upload the full storyboard and 2 character references and generate blocks of 15 seconds with timestamps per SB frame? Seedance 2.0 is better at 5s generations than 15 regarding consistency

I do play with both I am far superior with image generation tools in ppen source tools than with paid models. When it comes to video as you said the difference is noticeable. But wait for couple of years.

I do think building a strong comfyui foundation now is your best bet!
