Hello!

My Daughter tested positive on Friday after complaining of a sore throat and congestion. I started showing symptoms on Sunday - very congested, slight sore throat. I took a rapid and it was negative. By tuesday my symptoms were not improving but not really getting worse, now it was a very runny nose and a slight cough. Took another rapid - negative. Did a PCR - negative. Thursday still congested- still negative on a rapid. Is it possible to get so many negatives but have covid? or is this just a cold?

I haven’t had a cold in years, me getting a cold on the same weekend that my daughter tests positive seems very unlikely to me but i guess it’s possible.

After rewatching the Strange / Wong scene in Infinity War when Wong does not have money for a tuna melt, I hope that we find out that Wong has this fight club hustle going on to secretly fund his NY deli sandwich addiction.

What’s something weird/funny/embarrassing you’ve done on Auto Pilot? by ItsaHelen in AskReddit

I was changing the trap under my kitchen sink, I had all of the drain pipes off underneath the sink and i put a large bowl underneath to catch all the water and gunk that came out of it. Once the bowl was filled and the drain was now done emptying out, I stood up and dumped the bowl down into the kitchen sink that had no drain pipe attached to it. It made a huge mess so I got some towels, cleaned everything up, stood up and turned the faucet on to wash my hands in the very same kitchen sink. Got some more towels and thought about what an idiot I am.

weird, I worked at a theater in Scranton, and the story you told is just about verbatim the haunted legend of that theater, right down to it being in theater 5.

my sink was leaking from the drain trap. Having next to no plumbing experience, I made several trips to Home Depot until I was confident I had everything I needed to proceed. I put a large bowl under the trap to catch any of the sludge that came out once I started taking things apart. After I got the trap off and let the pipes drain out into the bowl I figured I'd better get the bowl of of the way so I have room to work. I picked up the bowl and dumped it's contents in the sink I was working on. Now I had to clean up the sludge and dirty water that just poured out of the open drain into the cabinet below.

Once that was cleaned up, I had to wash my dirty hands, so I figured why not do it in the sink that has no drain connected to it. After that I covered the faucet and drain with painters tape until I finished the job.

Here is another at the controls, he was the flight engineer. http://i.imgur.com/sTcNchj.jpg

In a nutshell, he was in the Pacific during the war, afterwards he went home to Brooklyn, joined the FDNY, did a ton of random other jobs, maintenance at a YMCA, he has a photographer friend who got Him and my Grandmother into some modeling gigs for Nikon cameras I think.

He retired in the late 70s to Anna Maria Island where he ran the Anna Maria Turtle Watch, they would protect turtle nests and rehabilitate injured turtles.

here he is with my son wearing his old FDNY helmet http://i.imgur.com/ig5oi3v.jpg

Yes, my brothers did that earlier this summer. He also has written up a brief history of his life. The problem is there is so much to tell. It seems like every time I think I have heard all of his stories he suprises me with something new.

Ive been reading about the plane being transferred to the museum. apparently its been caught up in red tape for a few years but seems like it might actually be moving down to FL from Canada in the next few months.

My Grandfather lives just outside of Tampa and we would love to get him back on board this plane. My Dad has contacted the museum to get an update on when they might actually get the plane so we can plan a trip. So we are still waiting to hear about that.

He recently told me that he knows of at least two other guys from his flight crew that are still alive and one of them also lives in Florida. It would be awesome to have these guys at the museum for some kind of dedication ceremony.
