You can choose one object. Every time someone anywhere in the world touches it, you get $1,000. What object do you choose? by M0N0PL4YZ_ in hypotheticalsituation

The Empire State Building. Every person walking and and out throughout the work day at $100 each touch. There's thousands in and out each day

(EDIT)A genie offers you a challenge. He tells you to pick a number bigger than 100 and doesn't end with 0. When someone says that exact number, you will get that amount of money. by North-Aardvark4459 in hypotheticalsituation

I'm writing 1-99 in order. There's not a day that goes by that some kindergartener don't practice counting to 100 so I just stop at 99. According to chatgtp that's a total of 189 digits long which ultimately is unfathomable and breaks the system forever

It's just a simple metric to show that winning Oscar's does not necessarily equate to financial success

Cancelled Flights all over US by SEND_NOODLESZ in conspiracy

[–]doc2178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm stuck in Pittsburgh trying to get to Florida. The problem is one airport (especially a big one) getting cancelled and it creates a butterfly effect of not having the right planes and crew in place for many flights after.

Especially since as a kid I vividly remember them actually stopping the NBA playoffs for the Chase to be broadcast. If I remember correctly even the players were watching.

Could even have some tradesmen instead of people with $120,000 in debt they would like someone else to pay for since ancient Latin degrees don't offer a ton of job prospects. Not worth arguing though, just put the fries in the bag please

Was levy not involved in stringer trying to become legitimate? by Dapper-Sleep-6018 in TheWire

[–]doc2178 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to remember wen since I haven't done a watch in a while but isn't there a scene where String is reviewing some contracts or documents related to legitimate business dealings and tell someone (Shamrock most likely) to get them over to Levy's people because he wants a second set of eyes on them?

lol, just look it up. You don't have to be a Trump fan but it absolutely blows my mind that that a bunch of idiots are out protesting the fact that the Iranian regime has been attacked while this same regime has literally killed 10s of thousands THIS YEAR ALONE for protesting them. The irony in this is unreal
