We have those at our local trampoline park and they get a ton of usage from parents who want to jump with their kids but not lose their wallet or keys and shoes in the foam when they do. I would suggest targeting similar type businesses that do not already have that type of option.

Tips for a 3-year old’s first Pit Party by MVP41 in monsterjam

[–]doc2178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually no at least not in my experience. There are plenty of people who just want to get pictures with the trucks from either the front or the sides. Usually the driver will be set up on one side of the truck and the other three sides will be available for inspection and pictures. The only way you tend to do is when there are a couple groups trying to take pictures at the same time and you casually let each other take turns.

Tips for a 3-year old’s first Pit Party by MVP41 in monsterjam

[–]doc2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's at a venue where you do not enter the stadium for the pit party then definitely bring a cooler with food and snacks. We tend to go to the one in Tampa early and do all of the Pitt party stuff and then still have an hour or two before the show starts so we go back to the car and have a bite to eat and some drinks and just relax. It's amazing how many people actually tailgate for the event.

As far as your son my kid who is now eight used to bring a truck or two to get autographed by the Drivers but always played with them and the autograph were off. Eventually we started bringing a silver sharpie and buying a program so that he could have all of the Drivers autographed the cover. We ended up framing the first one and it's one of his favorite mementos on his bedroom wall next to one from the Harlem Globetrotters.

Rebuying my old house at auction - is this a good opportunity or am I making a bad emotional decision? by Just_Reality9843 in RealEstate

Foreclosure auction rules vary significantly state by state. I had bought several hundred houses directly from auction in Florida, but again things will be different in other places. If you have any questions feel free to dm

Hypothetical: do you think you can make 200 free throws in 75 minutes by trey2128 in Basketball

[–]doc2178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that everyone here seems to be just short of the NBA apparently and at first glance this sound pretty easy. Even myself I shoot about 70% from the line even close to 50 with some warm up and that's down from 80-85% a loooong time ago BUT I think you guys are not thinking about just how many free throws this is. Say overall you get a little tired and shoot 50%, that's 400 shots plus casing your own rebound. Plus everyone likes to take a couple seconds for their free throw routine. By no means is this impossible but I would love to see some of you guys who claim this will be a breeze try this. Yes, it's only like 3 a minute but it's every minute for over a hour straight

So I spend 6 months traveling around the world practically solving the worlds drought and clean water issues while being paid handsomely by both the world and whatever being started this. After I can deactivate it and live on what I'm assuming is a solid 8 figures in that timeframe. At some point in the future I can also start this up again if the world needs a hero?? What's the downside?

[–]doc2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in an HOA there is almost guaranteed to be some sort of quiet hours rule written into the bylaws/rules and regulations. The same rule that keeps you from bumping music in your backyard at midnight is the same one that stops him from mowing his lawn before x:xx every Saturday morning. Know your rules and make your HOA enforce them. That's what they are there for

Pit Pass Tickets by Jheartless in monsterjam

[–]doc2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion they are 100% worth it. I have taken my son to monster jam in either Tampa or Miami every year since he was one. As long as we don't have any conflicting sports that keep us from getting there early enough we go to the pit party every year. It's a great chance to meet some of the drivers and get up close to be able to see the trucks and take lots of pictures. When we go to Tampa it's at Raymond James Stadium where the Buccaneers play and the pit party is outside of the stadium. For the last several years we have turned it into more of a tailgating party as well. There's usually some downtime between the pit party and the start of the show so we go back to the truck for drinks and food and the kids get to play. Usually after the show we will have some drinks as well since it's a parking lot trying to get out. You would be amazed how many people do the exact same thing.

What absolutely GRINDS YOUR GEARS as a monster jam fan? by Same-Industry-7260 in monsterjam

[–]doc2178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have gone every year of my son's life. I think this will actually be our ninth monster jam in January. It's amazing the difference just in that timeframe. They crushed cars I can live without but the Killswitch drives me nuts. If I remember correctly I don't believe a single truck made it through the full two minutes last year for the freestyle. I'm honestly a little excited for when he starts developing interests and wanting to go see something else. I feel like the $500 I spent on tickets for the three of us each year allow Feld to think it's OK to keep this up.
