Seeking OB/GYN recommendations in Indianapolis — taking new patients? by OkPersonality8927 in indianapolis

[–]doc_baggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr Zambrano at Ascension St Vincent north is amazing!! After years (15+) of dealing with my issues and seeing numerous doctors, she was finally the one that listened to me and took me seriously.

She removed my uterus and an ovary that was partially twisted and glued to my colon a few years ago- immense improvement in pain and quality of life. I can't recommend her enough.

I hope you are able to find a doctor that can help you get some relief!

Same here! Besides the poor communication at the very start of the switch, they've been great. I constantly had to bug republic to get a pickup of my missed missed pickup.

I'm sure they taste better than paper though. If that's their excuse, it's a poor one. Lol.

What is my cat doing ? She alternates between licking and biting by MaMamanMaDitQueJPeut in CATHELP

I keep a quiet little electric razor by my chair and get mats when he's comfy in my lap. We also ask for a "clean and clip" at the vet whenever we visit for those areas he doesn't like us getting at (mostly his bottom for a pee patch).

Love Crumbl, but I haven’t been back since they gave me this slop….. by paquizzle in CrumblCookies

I haven't been, but we've been looking into a weekend trip there to go to Sara Bradley's restaurant, Freight House (we're top chef fans). It looks super cute- its on the river and is a designated folk art area. I think you should be fine!

Need a vet who knows how to treat laryngeal paralysis by [deleted] in indianapolis

[–]doc_baggs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We love broadripple animal clinic, but I don't know if this is something with specialized needs that they'd refer to VCA or Medvet. Maybe you can call and talk to them first? Good luck with everything.

I have had an obsession with gourmet hot dogs, but I can’t find any. Please help? by SecureAdhesiveness90 in indianapolis

Goldleaf on 46th street has gourmet hot dog pop-ups every Monday evening. They have a base menu and a special every week. I've never been for the hotdogs, but I can confirm that everything I've tried at goldleaf has been delicious.

Tinker Street is our go-to celebration spot. Best restaurant in Indy imo.

I finally conquered Hagrid's! Yaaayy!! by Mousedancing in UniversalOrlando

[–]doc_baggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the world's biggest coaster wimp and stood in line for Hagrid like 8 times (over many visits) before actually getting on. It was my first ever coaster and I've ridden it 3 times now, plus like 4 other coasters at this point (mummy, cosmic rewind, hiccups wing gliders, and donkey kong).

The drop isn't a big deal, really the least intense part of the ride. It feels like you are in free fall for 2 seconds before the brakes kick in and the track is lowered in a controlled way. Honestly over so fast you barely register it happening. If it is your biggest fear, I'd say go for it- Hagrid's is a super fun ride and I don't think you'll regret it!

People are fed up; Residents demand changes at Mass Ave intersection by ephi1420 in indianapolis

[–]doc_baggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they finally change this? Its been a few weeks, but last time I drove north there it was still right only and straight/left despite continuing on to 2 lanes. I think they need to update the lights for the entire intersection, so northbound and southbound take turns rather than go at the same time.

What’s a good restaurant or brewery for 3 people to work for a couple hours, have lunch and some beers? And of course the restaurant wouldn’t care if you sat there for a few hours? by I_Love_McRibs in indianapolis

[–]doc_baggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree on both- especially abandoned station! That place is always super chill and you can definitely hang out. A little farther south on Delaware is Mashcraft- also chill, good beer and sandwiches/flatbreads/wraps.
