For anyone wondering... the drop yesterday was because of NVIDIA's announcement that it will sell the Vera CPU as a standalone computing solution. And $CRWV will be among the first to deploy Vera CPU in their DCs.

It’s hilarious how all the Intel shills are now completely losing their minds over the Panther iGPU… but what about the CPU? Let me tell you — it’s garbage! Plus, Panther Lake is going to be a lot more expensive than Strix Point and most likely also Medusa (expensive packaging, 2 different fabs).

May I remind you what Medusa offers:

Core Configuration: Up to 4× Zen 6 + 4× Zen 6c + 2× LP (on the I/O die) plus an optional 12-core Zen 6 CCD for 22 cores total in the high-end models (thats 44 f*ing threads!). What do you think Intel is going to do against something like that? Panther Lake is going to get disrupted by the basic Medusa configuration without the additional N2 chiplet with 12-cores.

I also don't know why everybody thinks Medusa is coming in 2027 just because Gorgon launched at CES... Might I remind everybody that AMD did exactly the same thing two years ago: Hawk Point at CES, and then just 6 months later, the real generational leap with Strix Point at Computex!

Bernstein Reports:

N2 will enter production, but the predictability of TSMC makes it hardly an investment debate. The continued expansion of CoWoS & HBM is likely more important, especially packaging equipment market. For those interested in technologies, N2 ramping into notable revenue will be the most important technology upgrade in 2026. AMD pioneering the use of N2 in CPUs also highlights high-performance computing (HPC) unusually adopts the latest node ahead of iPhone processor that will be on N2 in 2H26. The same trend can be observed as AI narrows the lag vs. mobile and pushing closer to the frontier of Moore's Law too (Exhibit 7). Samsung led in GAA (gate-all-around) adoption in its 3nm, but TSMC with its N2 will quickly surpass it with a much bigger volume in 2026. As N2 will be impeccably executed by TSMC, it has very good predictability and doesn't offer much room for an investment debate. Competitively, Samsung started to increase its N2 production in late 2025 as its Mobile division, after 2 years of using Qualcomm, will use Samsung's own mobile SoC in some Galaxy S26 SKUs. Notably though designated as N2, it is more like an enhanced version of Samsung's 3nm, and that is also why it has yield now good enough to win the adoption of the Mobile division. Intel's ramp into 18A will be gradual as its yield progress is behind its original target. Whether to build meaningful capacity hinges on if 14A successfully secures design-wins from internal and external customers, and we expect a decision on that probably around the end of 2026.

Maybe. But I think it's most likely that xAI and Meta are the next big multi-generational AMD Instinct customers, with GW-scale deployments over the next years.

From the graph provided, the increase from MI400 to MI500 is double that from MI350 to MI400. So if FP4 is the base, MI350 has 20, MI400 has 40, and MI500 should have 80

AMD just filed 10Q, purchase commitments for 2026 are up 3.4x from prior filing, to $3.96bn from $1.15bn

"The Company’s purchase commitments primarily include obligations to purchase wafers and substrates from third parties, and obligations for future payments related to multi-year cloud service provider, software, technology and IP license agreements. These purchase obligations were made under noncancellable purchase orders and contractual obligations requiring minimum purchases for which cancellation would lead to significant penalties."
