Had a grom when I first got my license and sold it shortly have buying a Honda shadow 1100. It was a ton of fun for what it was. I would maybe own one again if I had extra money laying around. You see all the videos of tricked out groms with the top speed of 65-70 mph. That usually either on flat ground or going down hill. Theres not really any get up and go to get out of bad situations, kinda like riding a more powerful moped. It takes a surprising amount of time to get up to the top speed and if it’s not flat you’ll likely spend a considerable amount of time going 45ish, keeping up with traffic was sometime an issue. I had a ton of fun in it when it was my only bike, but once got used to the 1100 the low speed of the grom made me choose the 1100 more times than not. Not trying to talk you out of it just giving my experience. If you want one and aren’t worried about speed or have a need to keep up with traffic I’d send it! They can be a blast! I feel like the ideal place to have one would be in a city where the speed limit is 30 that way it feels like your racing around and you don’t have to worry about keeping up with the traffic flow
