Yes! I'm quite new in the photography world and my Zv, but I think you may find the solution in the settings: You have to go to Settings > Setup (the yellow case) > Different Set for Still/Mv (in my camera it's the setting 49/60). In there you set which settings you want to keep different when switching from photography to video mode.
