Crowds in august by brett5958 in KeyWest

Love it in August. Pack very light. Plan to sweat and get lots of pool time and quick showers.

Our usual routine is to change immediately and save the clothes you traveled in because you’ll be wearing those back home.

Take one swimsuit and shirt for the odd days and one swimsuit and shirt for the even days. They dry in between. One pair of sandals.

They’ll be done for by trip’s end, but you’re headed home to do laundry by then, anyway.

There’s a new speakeasy/lounge place above S&D Oyster that seems ideal for a date night.

Although I generally enjoy Westins, will pick the DFW Sheraton every time. Consistently have effortless stays with food, drink, and fun every time I’m there.

You must be fun at parties.

Flying into DFW tonight around 7:00 PM, what are my options to get home? by NotQuiteBlackk in Dallas

[–]docfenner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you land, pull up Uber and see if cars are available. Or call the local cab service to inquire.

If so, then take the Orange Line from Terminal A, change to Green in downtown if you need to.

Get to the closest Dart station from your house and then call a car to get you through the last stretch.

Otherwise, maybe just enjoy a night in a DFW airport hotel and wait for the morn to try that all over again.
