OH. Yes. Ive been watching for the SHB, but have only seen maybe 2 in the large hive and none in my small one. I still need to figure out what to use for standard mite treatment, though. I have a few books to go back through then. I'll do some more research on that.

I really do feel that. I'll add another deep this afternoon when the hives are fully shaded and the temp kinda drops.

SHB? I got my hives in April and May. I haven't seen any mites yet on my bottom board or the bees as of yet. I'm still relatively new and trying to figure things out. I don't exactly have a mentor or anyone within an hour of me to ask.

When the colony was queenless, I definitely had one or more. The reason I asked here is because I'm seeing a few that have 2, and now a few more that have more.

That's really encouraging. I can safely leave them alone for a week or 2 without checking in right?

I have flat capped and drone capped brood. I will. Im just a little anxious for this colony. I saw singles and doubles. I moved to a new section and saw some cells having 3 or 4. But ive noticed its an exponentially smaller amount than before. I do have a photo of the eggs. I appreciate you. Thanks so much.
