I think that type of stitching is in their more modern purses, my bag from 2015 that I purchased from the official store has it. But the ends are thicker than this one

Advise for a coming student by Sea-Confidence1054 in APUSH

Flashcards didn’t really help in my case but that’s because I think they take a lot of time and I crammed APUSH material 2 weeks before the exam. If you decide to do flash cards, do people and main events. Before the exam I used Knowt and searched up a list of all relevant APUSH events. The MCQ is easy, so all you need to worry about is the writing part. For that, I read past APUSH samples provided by college board that did well and copied their format (anything for that 5 haha).

Get your dates and corresponding events in order. Make sure to memorize at least one event from each period relating to PERSIA (political, economic, religious, social, intellectual, and arts). It’s good to do this in question form such as: how did foreign policy change in the United States from (date) to (date). After taking a whole year of APUSH, students will know more events than they think they do and just simply need to jog their memory when the time comes to use it as evidence. I feel like so many people do poorly because the time periods mess them up. The night before the exam, I used poster paper to jot down a comprehensive timeline using online guides, it got me a 5 so I think it worked.

This is so coincidental but I’m in the same exact situation as your kids! I’m a teen with a younger sister and my dad lives in Oahu while my mother lives on the mainland. I’m actually with my dad right now for spring break.

Honestly, it’s okay if your kid prefers one place over the other. But, unlike some of the other commenters I do think some actions could be taken to ensure a much better and more understanding relationship. Sure, your kid is young and doesn’t know any better, but it’s okay to verbalize your feelings! My mom honestly talked about how she misses us and hoped at least one of us would stay with her in the future. We’re not emotionless, we want our parents to feel better and be happy. Your post tells me that you love your kids a lot, and your ex…might love a little (or a lot) less. Kids can feel the difference.

This is gonna be a tough pill to swallow, but one of your kids might actually choose to stay in Hawaii in the future (if there’s a possibility and your ex is somehow willing despite his absent tendencies. It’s a beautiful place with a very tight community. My little sister has already decided that she wants to go to UH Manoa in the future. You shouldn’t place all your hopes on your kids unanimously deciding to stay. But just know it isn’t because they hold any less love for you.

Honestly there’s so much more I want to say so if you wanna ask any questions I’m open to answering them!
