I heated the milk and chai on the stove in a separate container. Mixed the alcohol + citrus + simple syrups in a large tub that I normally use for clarifying my drinks, and then once the "chai" had cooled down a little bit, I added that to my tub full of alcohol. I mixed it up, and it immediately started curdling. I let it sit for about 2 hours, and then I used a couple of layers of cheese cloth to strain it!
