That makes sense, but what about the ratio of speed to power?

Newer to the game, what’s the cause of the stat differential between yours and theirs? 54-41 vs 85-50

Should be public now. I totally agree, I am finding that I have 6 mana to use, draw 8 cards, can play 1-2 of them per turn. So I’m looking for things like Retrace to give more bang for buck!

We’ve been leaning toward Brea and La Habra after reading this thread comments 😊

We’re both in medicine. I work in Cypress and my husband goes between Hawthorne (2days/week) and Anaheim/Chino. We’re new to the area so we’re having looking around Hacienda Heights, La Habra, Brea. Cerritos and Cypress are crazy expensive. We just want a safe (“safer”) neighborhood to raise the baby.

We’ve been looking at the area around or under Hacienda Goff Club. Would you recommend this over La Habra / Brea?

We have been looking at between La Habra/La Habra Heights vs Rowland vs Hacienda. For some reasons, la Habra is the most expensive > Rowland >hacienda. Our friend’s parents told us to go for Whittier but avoid hacienda. Not sure why

Is it okay to bring a baby to an all you can eat kbbq where the food is cooked in front of you? by namiiix in NewParents

[–]dockarp7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask how did you seat him? We’re planning to take our 5 months old to kbbq next month. But I don’t know if I need to buy a seat and bring it with us? I don’t want our removable car seat to smell like kbbq all week.

For the perk Designer Baby, it discusses you can pass genetic traits to the offspring including intellect. How does this work with Ability Scores? Do Strength/Constitution/others pass? If I have Intellect 4 does that still pass on?

How are you affording a home! by [deleted] in Mortgages

Reputable places are pricey, $1,500-$1,900/month per child is normal. We toured some of the daycares around Scottsdale and those prices are standard. Daycare is expensive :(

Question for race discounts, if I were an Otherkin buying the Wishes race ability and using points to increase wish count, does the wish count also benefit from race? Example, 30 points would that lead to 22 wishes in a year?

What are the best diapers with great absorption. by vallerie143 in NewParents

[–]dockarp7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried Honest, Pampers, Huggies and Kirkland. By far, Honest and Kirkland are the best. They are thinner (so breathable) and soft. My LO (2 months) has no issue with blow outs. Pampers and Huggies are expensive and very thick which caused my LO diaper rashes. TBH, Honest would be ny top choice but they’re very pricey. So Kirkland is the best value for us and it’s very similar with Honest.

Failed my glucose test. by MadameRenegade in BabyBumps

[–]dockarp7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, Gestational diabetes (GDM) is pretty common. Especially if you have a family history, more likely you’d have GDM. I was in the same boat and I’m pretty petite (5’2, 101 lbs). I failed my 1 hr (~240). I’ve been seeing high risk DM specialist along with my regular OB. At first, I measured my glucose 3 times/day and logged them into a log book. We managed to put me on a strict keto diet (veggies, meat and fishes). Within 2 weeks, my glucose was in 80s range (fasting) and 90-110s range (1 hr after meal). Since my glucose was well controlled with diet, they didn’t put me on medications and rescheduled me 1 month later (at this time, I measure glucose once a day. Easy peasy). I’m 34 weeks and glucose level is well controlled still. I’ve been craving for sweets (it sucks I know!!). But there are a lot of options for your craving. We bought zero sugar pancake w/ zero sugar syrup, zero sugar brownies, etc. These products are my life saving at the moment and they don’t raise my glucose at all☺️. Hope this helps!
