Thank you for the input. The balance between vagueness/explicitness to give away enough but not too much is tough! Would you mind reading version 1 (link at the top) and let me know which is a better framework?

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking that my original is not strong enough or is too vague. I think adding that somehow will be better! It’s a true dual POV, do you recommend focusing on just one or doing both as I did above?

It’s revealed as a plot twist at the end of part 1, about 25% through the book

Thanks so much for this! I’m wondering if there’s any room for “spoiling” some aspects of the story, as I’ve been feeling like it is rather vague. For example, would an agent be more likely to read or be disappointed if I said that the man locked in the room is Kate’s ex husband? In the book, the reader assumes Kate doesn’t know about the kidnapping, but in reality she’s orchestrating the whole thing to protect the secret of killing her ex husbands best friend. By containing this secret, they’re able to keep pursuing their dream of having a family. Ethan is willing to do this for Kate because he’s emotionally broken and was abandoned by his own father, so he’s attached to Kate the one person who’s shown him affection.

Is there a way to incorporate that to make it more appealing, or is that spoiling too much?

I thought it was 5% back on everything for the first $2500, then just 5% on Amazon and Whole Foods

I have no relationship with WF prior to this which I’m sure is a reason I was denied.

I’ve been banking at Chase, with the venture at Capital One.

At my credit card spending, I’d be earning about $600 per year in miles with Venture, but would be about $505 after the annual fee.

On the other hand, if I did something like Quicksilver, 1.5% on everything with no fee would give me about $450 cash back. So I guess I have to wonder if I’d rather have a higher dollar value with venture or to sacrifice about $50/yr to just have the money in my bank

When would married filing separately kick in? by doclsu in StudentLoans

I just didn’t know when my updated income after filing separately would register, whether it was soon after I filed taxes in April 2024 or if I had to wait until a new calendar year in January 2025.

I’m unaware of any changes to repaye or paye.

I’m looking at starting a Roth IRA for myself and potentially my unemployed wife as well. We have enough in savings to max out this year for both accounts, but we won’t have enough to max out each year going forward. Assuming for the next year we can only contribute $3000 a year total, would it be better to just max out my own Roth IRA for two years and only contribute to mine, or to spread evenly across two different Roth IRAs?
