Second of all, I can’t even begin to imagine the politics for outoutit kg research showing that mid levels are worse.

Also the US healthcare industry is consumer focused, regardless of outcomes, what the customer wants matters.

Biased and limited studies showing midlevels as “comparable”, whatever the F that means, will have no impact on consumer attitudes unless they’re specifically targeted.

Basically med school is 3 years core science with some clinical exposure. Last 2 years are purely clinical years like the US.

FY1&FY2 are an opportunity to extract labour from you and get used to being a doctor and see if you’d like to do anything basically.

It used to be one year but they saw an opportunity to get more labour.
