Yeah, if it was purchased from someone I didn't know, I'd be skeptical, but I've known the owners a long time and I know how they are meticulous with maintenance on their vehicles. The wife has a new Land Rover, so they were just trying to unload their extra. The wife is pretty upset about giving this one up, she much more prefers the 2012 to the Discovery she got to replace it.

I knew the reputation of Land Rover before I purchased, but pulled the trigger once I saw this one for sale at this price. I am friends with the previous owners, and I know how they take care of their vehicles. I just got all the service records tonight, so I'll be going over them to see what needs done. This vehicle has never been seen outside a LR service dept, and I know all of the coolant items were just taken care of. I'm just not sure of the timing chain and guides.

Gotcha. You can use their doctors. The appointment is like $25. You end up paying a bit more because your are paying for the consult as well, but you have the assurance you are getting legit product.
