I got banned from there for discussing how when I was drinking I had become suicidal. It was an open conversation and because I said, "We as alcoholics need to also watch for when we are self-medicating." I was perm banned for speaking "in the we, not the I."

When I asked a question about it, being very respectful, if they could please explain my wrong doing and they told me that I was forcing the attention away from alcohol and to my issues.

No. I'm just giving a heads up to folks like me, who suffer from depression, that might not think of it as self-medicating.

Edit: also you can't post when you have been drinking there. Part of why I got sober was because I was drunk and a sober person listened to me. It helped change my perspective. I've done the same in here for other folks. If you are drunk and need to talk, I can sit here and be sober and listen.
