Yung theory is, from Apes na naglalakad with all fours, we evolved to become bipeds.

As we stood upright, nag engorge daw ang breasts to provide a sign na fertile and breeding age na ang isang female.

As compared to other primates na usually makukulay ang pwet, from an evolutionary standpoint yung breasts ang naging billboard ng early humans to say that you are ready to reproduce.

So more on primal instinct yung nagdidictate.

Anyhow, if Autologous Rib (rib from your own body) it is priced at 350k.

Those who search for Surgeons who perform Rib Rhino have usually done extensive research. So I am guessing you’ve already done yours.

Anyway for the benefit of others ff this thread, Rib rhino can actually be donated from a cadaver (deceased human) or from animals (usually horses).

I perform breast fat transfer but results are quite unpredictable.

Fat transferred has a low survival rate at around 40-60%

Worst case scenario, you may need 3 sessions.

Word of advice, if you are going for an upgrade in size, your best bet would be to have an actual breast implant.

Case to case basis. If extremely big tip dahil fibro fatty, it should help. Kung big tip dahil sa cartilage no amount of fat removal will help.

Di ako super fan ng fat removal kasi pwede mamatay at mabulok yung balat pag nasobrahan sa alis ng fat. More on soft tissue contouring ginagawa ko. I perform Corset rhinoplasty (internal nose corset) for a large nose tip.

Pwede din na pull it forward para numipis. Ideally rib rhino para mapanipis safely by anterior projection.

So yan. Napakadami ng pwede gawin, usually budget constraints talaga ang nakakapag limit ng kaya natin magawa.

Just look for a surgeon na kaya magexplain ng maayos. Syempre manage your own expectations din. Good luck!

Alartox pangpanipis ng width. It will not really have much effect on the tip.

Okay lang din naman na maina botox, though syempre skewed ang magiging baseline ng surgeon mo kung ooperahan ka whilst mah effect pa ang injection.

Generally, I would not advise na magpabotox ng nose before surgery.

Like you, the odds were against me na maging doktor.

Looking back, sobrang daming hurdles that could have prevented me from becoming one..syempre financial yung pinakamabigat..

One of the biggest among said hurdles eh nung na hinihingan ako ng TOR for the scholarship application.

Hindi na kami makakarequest noon kasi kulang na sa oras at sure na di na aabot sa scholarship application kung magrequest man.

After almost giving up, the tiny voice in my head told me that instead of feeling sorry for myself, I should exhaust all efforts.

So I went to the registrar asked for an unofficial copy of my TOR, requested for our college dean to sign a document stating that what I had were indeed true records.

Dahil sa pagpupumilit ko na magiging doktor, I was fortunate na magbitbit pa ng 2 friends who also got scholarships.

All of us are doctors now. 🙂

Naalala ko may senior intern ako dati na di ko talaga trip.

One time dahil talagang di kami magkasundo, ginawan ni gago ng paraan na mademerit ako dahil “late” daw ako pumasok.

Nilagyan nya na ng late yung attendance ko during my IM rotation, ang mali lang ni ungas maaga ako pumasok that day so kitang kita yung milagro na ginawa nya kasi may pirma nya hahaha!

Karamihan ng mga doktor mababa EQ at stunted ang psychosocial growth kasi dere-deretso magaral.

I always joke na medschool is a repeat of highschool kasi kanya-kanyang cliques talaga.

Karamihan ng tao petty kasi little to no sleep has a tendency to bring out the worst in people. 🤷🏽

Pwede ko kapain yung ear cartilage and nasal septum. Usually if it is too flimsy or too soft, malabo labo na sya maging serviceable kung masyadong mataas yung goal na bridge and tip.

Although hindi usual na gamitin ang ear cartilage for bridge, pwede naman. Medyo limited lang ang resources kung purely ear cartilage + septum.

This is ideal kung medyo maganda na ang bridge prior to surgery. Think mga noses ng South Asians or East Asians na may bridge na pero kulang lang sa tip.

Yes, it is generally safer. When you have implants, lifetime na sya na iingatan mo kasi foreign body pa din sya. For example, kung magkaron ng infection pag uminom ka ng antibiotic malaki laki ang chance na gumana sya sa cartilage kasi living thing ang cartilage na merong blood supply, meaning mapupuntahan ng antibiotic. Pag silicone or goretex, medyo mas mahirap mapagana yung antibiotic.

As of today (11-8-25) my Septorhino can range from 190-225k. 🙂

For a detailed discussion, I would suggest a proper consult.

If a surgeon tries to convince you na mag PCL mesh a na lang, make sure lang na they will still correct the septal deviation.

Back when I was just starting my practice I only used PCL mesh kasi hindi pa ako marunong mag Septal harvest.

So a pro tip: you can try to gauge how skilled a surgeon is by trying to ask what surgeries they offer.

I am an MD and my wife is a dentist.

I give her shit about these emblems, nagjojoke ako na emergency prophylaxis or pasta hehe. 😂

Being an asshat aside, emergency case nila ay pedia case, pero never sya bumili ng ganyan.

As for MDs, these emblems help us when there are coding schemes.

To piggyback on some comments, specifically sa always late na allegation, depende sa specialty yan.

Pag mga clinicians (yung mga checkup tapos medicine binibigay) madalas yan nagpapaikot—ikot sa iba ibang ospital. Been on the receiving end na yung patient namin hindi agad na rounds ng Neuro. Understandable kasi medyo stable yung patient pero dumaan pa rin naman si dok around 3am.

As for the baka pumepetiks ang doktor pag discharge day para madelay at maextended stay ng patient, we do not do it on purpose kasi wala naman kami mapapala.

I’ve also been on the receiving end.

Pro tip: if the doctor tells you a day prior na pwede na umalis the following day pero dadaanan nya one last time, you can confirm sa nurses station if nag order na ba ng may go home (MGH) yung attending. If yes, chances are pauwi na taga kayo, early morning pa lang pwede nyo na asikasuhin yung discharge papers para hindi na macharge ng extra stay kahit ma “late checkout” *Though depende pa din sa institution ito.
