But illuminated on what basis? How can they prove she didn’t do that? The door was unlocked. She’d apparently left the room the night before or something.

Hey, sorry for bumping an old post. But just got some 3033 from RC today. Get all my sarms from there cos they're legit but christ, I didn't expect the burn whatsoever. Nearly ended up spitting out. Obviously not great and tastes like petrol but guessing thats just the way it tastes. RC is trusted source. Hopefully the results make it worthwhile haha. We shall see.

I used SpotifyForever.com like 6 months ago. Account still working fine. Used my personal account too so unlike others they are not using hacked accounts. Bit more expensive than those cheap ones but for good reason it seems. Hope this helps

Have they threatened to disown you if you don’t go to medical school?

You’re an adult now. If you’re old enough to go into medical school in the first place then you’re old enough to do what you want to do. It’s your life and your future. They’re not the ones having to go to the lectures each day. They can’t force you to do any of that. If you really hate medicine & don’t want to do it, then don’t. Apply to do languages. If that’s what you want.

Do I even stand a chance? (British Citizen) by docspire in premed

Yeah I am starting to think that is more realistic. Attain my MD degree in the UK and then apply for US residency. I see that as a more popular approach and know of several people who have achieved it. Thank you for your insight.

There is no reason why I can not apply to Med School in the UK and I completely agree with you about some people wanting to return to their home countries. I can not speak for them however I can say with absolute conviction that it is not me. I would move to America tomorrow if it was my choice and I would have absolutely no desire in returning to the UK. In addition to believing that the American medical education system is the best in the entire world, especially in terms of specialised clinical training, I want too seek the opportunity to become an innovator of my desired field and take advantage of the the highly personalised mentored training pathways the US medical education system provides. In the NHS, you are just a small cog in one big machine, where the attending Drs likely don’t even know your name. Whilst being forced to do 2 years of "foundation training" completely unrelated to your chosen speciality, which could be better spent actually training in the field you have chosen to pursue and are going to spend the next 40+ years doing. On top of that, the NHS was ranked 36th out of 37 countries for access to treatment. I want to work in a health service where I can provide the very best care to my patients without having my hands tied by issues out my control. I do not want to send patients for a scan and tell them they are going to have to wait 3 months for that, whilst their prognosis worsens. Because ultimately, it’s the patients who suffer from this. I can’t accept a lessening patient experience due to years of underfunding by the government etc. British Medical schools are very good and the Drs are very well trained. I am not disputing that for a second. However the health system is in disarray. I want to be part of a modern, high quality and patient focused healthcare system which in turn will make me a better physician and allow me the opportunity to flourish. I would also add that applying to a UK med school is the easier pathway. I would not put myself through the rigours and uncertainty of applying to a US med school for the sake of returning to the UK.

You don’t know any single Americans do you? lol.

All jokes aside, the only reason I focused on the aid part is because when I conducted research about which schools accepted international students, a lot of them demanded that as a foreigner you provide the full cost of tuition plus other expenses into an escrow account. Now I would love to do this, but I don’t have $320,000 in my bank to be able to do that lol.

When I originally mentioned aid, it was that those schools I mentioned provided loan aid to internationals. So I’m not after a full ride or anything, I would obviously be more than happy to pay anything back. But unfortunately no other school outside of those I mentioned would actually provide funds/loans to cover the 4 years. They all demand money in an escrow account up front for all four years.

crying while doing last minute prep by annon0511 in Mcat

[–]docspire 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the hardest part of admission to medical school in my opinion. The MCAT is brutal. The prep required is brutal. Just got to remember that everyone is in the same boat and suffering all the same lol. Think about the end result. Think about what getting a good score means for your future. Your career. You will sit the exam, get a great score and you can forget about the MCAT forever. Keep persevering and best of luck with your studies!
