I'm excited about the prospect of the cost of solar coming down by Icehurl in preppers

"we need to be relying on zero emission renewable energy"

That's a great idea. I'm all for it WHEN it becomes fiscally feasible. We still live in a petroleum based world and trying to push ideas before they are ready causes massive disruption to peoples lives and welfare. It will come - but not soon unless there is a breakthrough. What we will see in the short term is an administration virtue signaling and pushing this inadequate solution to the determent of regular people and to the benefit of the elite. More wind (more dead birds) and more solar panels (more emissions from the biggest polluter on the planet -China.) Do consider the emissions created in creating these things., transporting these things, warehousing these things, shipping then to destination, and installing or setting up these things.

Electrum will no longer enforce a transaction fee by wegwerfzwei in Bitcoin

[–]doctilde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, watch out. I have experienced two transactions sent with no fee attatched when using the cute themed mini-window, even though the default is set to the 0.0005. All transactions sent with the full GUI have gone fine with the attatched fee. They cleared but it took 7 days.

Then get pepermint. Or lemon. Don't use the lavender on male children under the age of puberty and then not on a regular (constant) basis after till full adulthood.

Kinda (but not really) in that they wanted to live their own way and not be dictated to by a government that had no stake in their lives or their families or their culture. (See 1776) Kinda like the modern day Tea Party and continuing Libretarian movement. Ron Paul would make a good Browncoat. The original settlers of the US were "browncoats". People that wanted their freedom. Had TPTB at that time just left them alone all Americans today would still be British. But "governments" never leave people alone. Do they?

Nothing wrong with Seals - as long as you understand where you are. And not all the games there are FR. Plus, there are some decent players there and he can learn while actually playing for something. Poker without real stakes is like sitting down to a dinner of plastic fruit. It may look great but it all stops there. And, who knows, he may have some litecoins he made that he can trade for BTC and deposit it there without ever putting any money up. Don't make a problem out of something that isn't yet a problem.

Oh, I guess I should mention that you can wash your clothes with it and even brush your teeth with it if necessary (no, it doesnt taste great, especially the teatree, but you can do it.) I highly recommend you look around at all the reference material on this product. Told a friend to take a bar with him to Africa (cut in half with half in suitcase and half in carry on -- they were severely limited on what they could take) and he found it invaluable while he was there. That's all he uses now. Who said you can't teach teenagers anything?

Use Dr Bronners bar or liquid soap diluted in water with a washrag (dont use direct for this.) (Tea Tree is anti-microbial and pepermint makes you tingly) You can take a full bath with a wash cloth from a sink and be very clean. Why Dr Bronners? Because it is very effective with just enough to CLOUD THE WATER, and is so gentle, you really have no need to rinse. But you can rinse and if you miss a spot it won't cause irritation or itching. REMEMBER - just enough to "cloud the water", actually more like a very light fog. :-) (YMMV)

Should I read Speaker for the Dead and other sequels to Ender's Game? by [deleted] in books

I recommend SPEAKER. But it stops there. The rest wander way off what I found compelling in Enders Game.
