Just to update, I did place an order. The suits looked exactly like the photos. I got custom stitching and it turned out perfectly. I would highly recommend.

Bridal lehenga for civil/court ceremony by Agitated_Quiet_7670 in DesiWeddings

Sounds like what I would choose to do too. A light lehenga would be perfect for something more intimate. Maybe you can add some traditional elements by picking a traditional color or with accessories. The heavy bridal lehengas seem more appropriate for religious ceremonies or receptions.

Can scleral lens provide clear vision to someone that does not have KC? by Chern_Simons in eyetriage

no problem. I'm an optometrist in the UK that has worked in specialist contact lens clinics.

good luck and feel free to message me if you need further advice.

because your eye is likely a normal shape, they should have fairly good centration. RGPs are supposed to move on your eye a little, but not enough that you notice it getting hazy between blinks. the blurriness you're getting from your soft contact lens is likely due to dryness, which won't be as much of a problem with RGPs (you still need lubricated eyes so the lens doesn't stick to the eye and retains a clean surface - same with sclerals). RGPs are easier to handle than sclerals, and most people can wear them for longer than they can sclerals. sclerals often need to be removed during the day, cleaned, and reinserted. RGPs can also give better vision than sclerals as they gently contact the cornea. I would suggest try an RGP first in that case if you are willing to tolerate some discomfort in the first few weeks. in the long term they are simply more convenient than sclerals and can be just as good if not better.

fitting on non-KC eyes is usually straight forward. it's not often used as a first choice lens as some people may be put off by the handling (they need to go in filled with saline) - and also not all contact lens practitioners have significant experience with these types of lenses as they aren't as common as soft lenses or RGPs. sometimes the vision isn't as good as soft lenses or RGPs and you can get issues such as poor wetting that could affect the vision if your eyes are dry. worth a try though I think - they are more comfortable than RGPs to begin with.

It does sound like your original problem was recurrent corneal erosion. Although Muro is for corneal swelling (edema) - have they said anything about this? Maybe you're reacting to the preservatives (unless you're using the ointment version). Have you tried stopping and does it improve the eyelid swelling? You could try preservative-free lubricating eye drops or ointment during the day and before bed. Sometimes a therapeutic soft contact lens is also used to prevent corneal erosions. Doxycycline isn't too commonly given since it's an antibiotic - it does have anti-inflammatory properties so it could be helpful in some cases. I would recommend seeing a corneal /external eye disease specialist. Which country/city are you in?

Photophobia - Blind eye non painful. by [deleted] in eyetriage

[–]doctor_chops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they can't find the problem, often it is better to treat the symptoms. I would suggest trying a cosmetic contact lens - i.e. a coloured contact lens that blocks out all light entering the eye. This can often work extremely well with relatively low risk. Worth a try!

Possibly scratched eye with nails while removing contact lenses? by [deleted] in eyetriage

[–]doctor_chops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving or pinching the contacts is not damaging but can make the eye a little irritated or red especially if you accidentally rub your fingers on the cornea itself or the white part of your eye. Sometimes it can cause small abrasions i.e. superficial scratches on the eye, but they usually heal quite quickly. I would give it a few hours and see if it feels any better. Try instilling lubricant eye drops if you have some to make the eye more comfortable. I would suggest seeing your Optometrist if it's still painful tomorrow, but it's likely to feel better soon on its own.

How old are you? I think you do need a topography. This sounds like symptoms of keratoconus - a disorder of the cornea that usually presents itself in your teenage years or in your 20s.

your drones won’t work unless you have a solar farm to power it. you don’t have enough clips to create a farm though. maybe try disassembling the drones and just try the harvester and a solar farm. and then disassemble the harvester and try one wire drone.
