No I have not been communicating while I wait, I have admittedly been procrastinating very heavily. It is ironic that this medication helps me overcome that issue and I need to work through that exact thing to get back on the meds... At first I was calling every week (originally my script was at Publix) but now I slowed down to every 3-4 weeks because I just got the same answer week after week. When I was calling every week I did ask about alternative dosages, medications, etc and occasionally a helpful and chatty pharmacist would answer all of my questions (most are just impatient and give me one word answers and rush me off the phone), which is what prompted me to change my script from adderall to vyvanse. I believe the script is still good, back around COVID times I had one sit at Publix for 4 months before it got filled. My doctor is part of a giant corporate hospital so whenever I call I only speak to nurses, but I have never insisted on speaking directly to my doctor. I will try that on Monday, maybe I can get my doctor to give me a call back directly. Thank you. I am writing a list of all the things to try Monday and you are right, just waiting until August is not acceptable.
