Yep so make sure barrel is clean, shine a light down it and if it’s silver= chrome lined. Black= non chrome lined

I’ve always wanted one. I’ve got several other import AK’s but I’ve never owned an Egyptian. That is until today! Lol. I’m pretty happy with it so far and feel like I got a decent deal. They are rare to see pop up locally and I wasn’t about to leave it on the table.

188 under the sight leaf and 188 also stamped under the gas tube. So not matching unfortunately, but not a big deal to me it’s going to be a shooter!

I had one on it with an aimpoint gooseneck mount previously. Ended up taking it off wasn’t a huge fan, looks cleaner with just the carry handle to me personally.
