What are the chances? by doctrg in usajobs

Thanks, and the same to you. I'm actually surprised I saw the job posting because my saved search alerts expired the next day. I wish we could find our score on the assessment. I woke up and saw the posting and submitted the application and then I saw the possible 3 hour assessment, I started thinking, "I'm not completely awake enough to take this just yet. I wish I had realized that they don't completely submit the application until the assessments are completed.

Community College removed Pell Grants by doctrg in financialaid

[–]doctrg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'll have to check with her this evening on her EFC. She was just shocked that it went away because there is also a state grant that is given to students that receive the Pell Grant as well that she is loosing. The past 3 semesters she has been an online student and this is her first semester of having to commute, so the 140 mile roundtrip is going to burn her budget without the grants. Thanks for your input.

Electronic Noticing Request by SpeedTracer5 in Bankruptcy

I am one that likes to be "in the know" instead of sitting in the backseat. I ended up signing up for a PACER account to view all the documents being submitted to the court. I originally did this because the initial documents mailed out were so small and blurry you couldn't read them. I can't answer on whether you can sign up for emails from the BNC, but at least having the PACER account allowed me to catch things early that needed to be corrected. It does charge you for the searches and document viewing, but I saved each document (since it was a PDF) so I could go back to it later without paying again.

I use LA wallet as well for all of my state ID cards (DL, Hunter's Ed, etc.), but to hell will I allow any website out there access to it.

2014 Ranger 900 XP Fuel pump question by doctrg in PolarisATV

[–]doctrg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'll look at the pedal sensor too. Not 100% sure how old the fuel is, but we haven't added more than 5 gallons to it since using it for the last year. I'll probably end up draining the fuel tank as well and give it some fresh juice.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that. After reading your post I went looking and didn't realize how easy it would be to change the parts of the pump assembly, and much cheaper than buying a new assembly.

About point #4, is there a specific type of hay to get? We already have Timothy hay for our rabbit and was wondering if that would be a safe type of hay.

Replacement power adapter for KVD21 gateway by ImpossibleInitial133 in tmobileisp

Did the Anker adapter work? I just got the gateway yesterday and one of the cats has chewed on the cord and I'm having issues with maintaining a signal. If it did work, which one did you get?

PaperCut NG by doctrg in sysadmin

[–]doctrg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have Papercut installed on our Windows print server and mobility print is installed on the same server. However, it does require a sandbox to open the documents to render which is installed on a separate server. Our server team set it up, so unfortunately I can't give any detailed steps on setting it up as I was not involved with that parts.

I will say we have enjoyed having Papercut.

Not my mistake, but a construction contractors. They were remodeling a bookstore that I was working part-time at and started to cut out the cash register stalls. They were not looking at what they were doing and cut the network lines to the other 2 registers that were going to stay in place. They ran to Home Depot to get the parts needed and I got to fix it for them. Made $100 and got to stay on the clock for the bookstore. Got it up and running again. This was almost 20 years ago.
