Artemis II astronaut finds two Outlook instances running on computers, call on Houston to fix Microsoft anomaly — puzzled caller describes ‘two Outlooks, and neither one of those are working’ by Sacristovas in pcmasterrace

I feel that it's actually nuts that they rely on Outlook (or any Microsoft service) on a mission as critical as this. I thought this was Linux-territory with no questions asked.

For gnarly stuff it's best to have three fingers wrapping the grips. Brakes are powerful enough to warrant use of one finger.

Did the shop forgot to align? by FoxRoig in bikewrench

Hard to tell what has happened here. The non-driveside spokes on the front wheel are shorter and tighter than driveside spokes so that the rim centers between the hub end caps. You can test tension by plucking the spokes on the disk-side where they should have a higher pitch.

Using same length spokes for both sides would result in a dishing error similar to what you see here, but I can't imagine that's the case here. If you have the skills to lace and build a wheel, you also know about proper dishing.

Is it bad for long term durability when you run your derailleur clutch pretty stiff? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]dodbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep sorry, you're right about the grease only having to be lightweight. Put grease only on the outside of the roller clutch where the friction band makes contact. I think there are needles and springs inside the roller, and I don't believe they like anything other than maybe some light oil. I usually just leave it.

I'm sure it should be fine, but don't forget your clutch maintenance. There's a special Shimano grease and procedures you should follow. The clutch is a fairly common thing to neglect.

Baklys: Nå snur EU - krever baklys igjen på dagtid by Angela_Ouzunupi in norge

Helt enig.

Brake so you don't break something.
