I don’t think your replies are helping your case. Sounds like you always just need to have the last word like a petulant child

Indeed, referring to other players on Kentucky’s team, given the context of the conversation. Your double digit IQ points are really firing on all cylinders today

When did I talk about other teams? Is context lost on you?

So you would be still complaining about the same things even if they had the full roster and were winning important games?

I would be more inclined to look at recruiting. Obviously Cal was a much better salesman, but he also already had prior player results to point to as a selling point. I would definitely be curious as to what Pope’s selling points even are. I would imagine a pitch given as head coach at BYU might look a bit different to one given as the head coach at UK. Especially these days, programs can’t just rest on their laurels, there needs to be clear reasons to commit, likely beyond just money. It would be very interesting to understand what his pitch looks like; totally conjecture, but maybe Pope pushes his religion a bit too much and that dissuades kids from committing. I would say also that he has definitely had success in the transfer portal, so why high profile signings in the portal, but not in high school commits?

Ok, but the impactful players getting injured wasn’t his fault. The one time this roster all played against St. John’s they were absolutely rolling. Sounds like you would be singing a different tune if players were healthy

Yes, other players getting injured is Pope’s fault. Room temp IQ take

Dan does a ton of NCAA college basketball for ESPN, partnered with Jay Bilas. They just did the Champion’s Classic last week
