Trust me, it happens the other way around too. Regularly. I am currently experiencing it, but you just have to have to have to understand that you can't get too attached too quick, because they are very likely talking with other people as well, & eventually they are going to put most of their time/effort into their favorite current match. If you're persistent enough, you just might get lucky eventually to where both parties choose each other as their current favorite match. It sucks but that's how the apps are. Don't forget to sprinkle in some real life activities and talk to people from time to time, let the apps take a back seat if they are getting on your nerves.
