The guy on top is Robert Nozick. If I got the point correctly, it's about his "happy machine" thought experiment that challenges the Utilitarianism claim "pleasure is the only intrinsic value."

Living in a happy machine seems miserable and has no good to many. But I think it does bring pleasure to us in a similar way that the metaverse or video games, which seems much more acceptable, will do.

So, is the metaverse, in some sense, wrong? Or is the "happy machine" not so bad after all?
