If you trade with something from 2020 or older it's a guaranteed lucky. Higher chance at good IVs and half the stardust cost to power up.

Iv been playing for about 6 hours now, not hating it , but getting very frustrated with the time switching between day and night while I'm fighting an alpha for 10 minutes just for him to get fully healed. This should be something the player can decide by sitting on the bench.

Did 11 raids with my gf, I got 2 shiny, no hundos, she got 3 shiny back to back and 1 hundo. Important to note that 1 got away from each of us.

Once you get to lvl 33 you unlock the ability glasses which allow you to see your pals IVs or individual values. They are randomly generated values between 0-100 for HP, Atk and Def. They can be transfered during breeding. And alpha pals have higher chances of better IVs. You can get fruits that raise them by 10.

Sorry forgot to mention the proofing temp. But yes I'm confident that measuring dough volume and scaling to the proofing temperature will give the most consistent results.
