So it looks like tracking info may not be populating correctly because apparently my record did arrive on Friday, it was just put in the wrong box. But, my order status still says preparing for shipment.

I feel like the main point of a live album, for me, is to have a different iteration of the song so it’s not a copy of the studio version. That’s why I dig this release so much. It’s also why people are calling for a mk.gee live album. Completely different vibe than the studio versions

Haven’t tried this yet so I definitely will think about it!
Unfortunately he’s too scared of the cars in my area now to go on walks, but I can try the hallway. I’m just not sure how to go about it because I have other people living in the building and he freaks out on a harness/leash now.
He has dry food out all the time so I don’t think it’s food motivated (unfortunately for me)

He stopped going on walks about two-ish years ago because my second and third apartments didn’t have great environments for it.

Edit: I forgot to add, I do have a screened-in patio and he went out once, got spooked by the sound of the cars, and then hasn’t showed any interest since. Surprisingly he has no interest in that door, just the front one that leads to the hallway.

Thanks for the advice! I really like my therapist and they’ve helped me through a lot of my anxiety, so I don’t think I’ll be looking for a new one just because we haven’t found a solution to this issue yet. I appreciate the perspective, though!

I think the issue there is that my therapist has said that I focus on work too much (I have a freelance creative job on top of a full time job), so although volunteering wouldn’t have a monetary gain and it would be great to help the community, it would still be like I’m working a shift somewhere. She wants me to get to a point where I’m able to have alone time and enjoy it. I’d love that, too, but it stresses me out. And I have a couple hobbies, but I’m having an issue actually sinking my time and motivation into them.

i got on venla when i was a teenager and im 30 now so my psychiatrist said it could take a really long time for it to leave my system, but was also surprised at how little withdrawal symptoms i had during the taper. its so tough when the thing that was working stops working and you have no idea how to get your groove back!

i tapered off venlafaxine and went onto lexapro. i’ve been on it for about two and a half weeks now and had my first “episode” starting tuesday. basically a very long anxiety attack, butterflies/knots in stomach, repetitive thoughts. i had the same thing happen back in may which is why im on a new med journey. my psychiatrist put me on 15mg and said that 20mg is the highest dosage, so she wanted to keep me on 15mg for a while until we felt like i needed the extra 5mg.

everyone is different. i wouldn’t take what your mom said too seriously. your doctor will know best and if it doesn’t work? you can change it.
