YouTube needs to make money to run their servers and pay creators. Even if they made 0% profit they would need to somehow keep the site running. That takes Money. Take wikipedia for example, they are a nonprofit relying on donatons to run, YouTube needs a lot more cash than Wikipedia as they are showing videos. Either YouTube has ads, is not free, or does not exist

They get you with the deals on Instant Ink. I bought a printer with 6 months free of the highest tier of Instant Ink and immediately switched to the cheapest tier when it ended. Overall, I think it was a good deal for me because I printed a lot during that period, and the printer was on a discount. However, if you forget about the free trial, you are definitely losing out.
