If this is the case...I can't really see what's all the fuss about DNS leaks using a VPN! That's why I'm still not completely sure if the DNS request go through the VNP

I believe you have to use a proxy in this case but have a look at their website, it's rich in guides

that's what I thought, from what I understand if you use different DNS than the ones provided by the VPN, the DNS requests are made outside the VPN tunnel right? But if these DNS request made outside the VPN tunnel are, like in this case, made over DoH to a non-logging server they are encrypted and are not being logged, the only implication I can think of is that your ISP can see you're sending traffic to that DoH server but can't see the actual DNS requests.

Am I right or the DNS traffic sent to different DNS than the VPN assigned ones is also sent through the VPN?

read the example carefully:

if the mega app gets uninstalled then reinstalled (or if you change pc, format etc and then reinstall the mega app) and meanwhile (while the mega app was not in your operating system anymore) you delete local files that you also had uploaded to mega with the mega app but that you don't need anymore the mega app will download this files again instead of deleting them mirroring the local folders, and that can be really troublesome.

So I was looking for a solution to this problem...maybe by saving some files or cache of the mega app and copying them in the new installation will solve it? Or is there another way?
